The fifth Methanol Seminar of Iran was held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the IRIB International Conference Hall, with the presence of representatives from the Islamic Consultative Assembly, authorities, and executives of methanol companies. The seminar focused on the following domains:

1.1 Scientific and practical technologies aimed at cutting down on energy consumption, decreasing pollution, and enhancing production efficiency in methanol production complexes
1.2 Innovative technologies addressing the supply of oxygen, electricity, methane gas, water, and nitrogen in the methanol production process, in compliance with environmental requirements in the Asaluyeh region

Innovation:
2.1 Innovative technologies implemented in the production of value-added products from methanol
2.2 Opportunities and limitations in the application of methanol in various industries domestically and globally

Sales:
3.1 The future of the methanol market, considering current and future production capacities from various sources (gas, coal, biomass, etc.) while adhering to environmental requirements
3.2 Scientific and practical logistic solutions to reduce the transportation costs of methanol domestically and globally
